I am feeling so good right now! The last month has been a bunch of stressful waiting and interviewing and waiting some more flying nearly 3000 miles over night across 3 time zones. And, after it all... I've finally gotten my break!
I'll be starting at Gameloft Montreal in a few months after the Canadian Work Permit gets taken care of, probably by November.
And, I get Married Tomorrow. I will no longer be a bachelor.
Oh, I'd like to thank Polycount for The wealth of Knowledge Contained within these virtual walls of this forum. It is through Polycount that I have gained many of this skills I now have.

and yeah, they actually don't let you turn right on red lights on the island. I think its because there were to many accidents with people not looking, but im not sure.
Marriage and a job, good stuff.
Be sure to make full use of that extended honeymoon
HAHAHA
Congrats!! man! montreal's beautiful!
Sell your car.
Don't bother driving in this city. It's stupidly expensive.
Parking in my apartment building is considered CHEAP at $160 a month, and parking near Gameloft will run you an extra $150 a month (with no reimbursement).
Trust me. I've lived in LA, and Vancouver. I understand how weird this might sound.
This city is built like Manhattan. Driving is a ridiculous hassle, and the culture is on top of taking public transit or biking. People LOVE drinking here, and you're missing out on a HUGE part of the after work culture if you have to stay sober.
The only people that drive in this city are the guys that live out in the boonies. You should live closer to the Plateau, Mile End, or Little Italy. Then take the Metro everywhere.
Then just rent a car with commune auto, hertz, or enterprise if you need to drive out of town.
EDIT: After Jacque's post I just wanted to say I've been living here for about 2.5 years (from Texas), and I haven't had a car the whole time I've lived here and it's been great
so i take it there is a general consensus that gameloft is a good studio to work at?
