2D Character Artists Needed for Indie Game

Hello!

I am collaborating with a Unity 3D programmer on the development of a game.

The game programming is 85% finished. We intend on publishing this game for the mobile markets, and all who are involved will receive compensation.

What we need are five or more 2D game artists who can illustrate the various characters and their key frame poses that will be needed for the game sprites. 2D Animation experience is probably necessary, but not required.

The characters in the game include, but are not limited to:

Elven Archer (player-character)
Human Archer
Amazon Spear woman
Ogre
Stone Golem
Wizard

We hope to find five artists who can do three to five characters each.

The illustrations would basically be key frame positions for each character's animations.

For example: Reloading a bow (3 frames)

  1. Character holds the bow down at his side, while his other arm is up and bent, as his hand reaches for a bow from the quiver.
  2. Notching the arrow to the bow string.
  3. Holding the bow up and forward, aiming with the arrow pulled back.
Some animations may require 5 frames, such as walk cycles and runs or certain attacks.

Each artist will be responsible for drawing all of the animation frames for each of the three characters they will be assigned. Please note: There is no interpolated animation required; just the key frames.
