I participated in the preview event at my local game store on Saturday and it was pretty fun - the season starts tomorrow. I was always of the opinion that playing with random strangers at a convention or store was lame but it was actually pretty fun. So anyone in the Austin area, I'm probably going to be playing Thursday or Monday at Rogues Gallery in Round Rock.

How come you chose to participate even though you initially felt that public roleplay events were lame? (Hope that I'm not paraphrasing too much! Right me if I'm wrong)

i thought it was lame but decided to try it out and found out it wasn't. That's the same way I discovered that peanut butter is a good topping for hamburgers.
