Hello Everyone!
A breif story behind this project
I have always been a Maya person until I encountered 3ds Max. For some people, the transition from Maya to 3ds Max comes quicker. For me, it was a slow process. For 5 months, I was determined to make a project using 3ds Max, pushing the boundaries within myself, and go more in depth in the program.
I'll be quite honest, I now like 3ds Max more than I did in Maya:)
Anyway, I am pleased to present my first project done on 3ds Max "The Kings Chair"
In my opinion, this is the best project I ever done thus so far!
Hope you guys like it!:) I'm always up for constructive Criticism.

I like it overall.. Looking at the concept
You need to actually model some of the LION to bring it out more.
Not just put a bump on it. I can't even tell if it's a Lion face in your low poly model.
you need to model alot more of the chair to actually bring the stuff out to make it look more like the concept.

The chair looks ok..the lions on the arm rests don't read well as lions..just looks like noise.
Yes there are texture on the back of the chair. But there are no Spec maps I put in. There is not much to see in the back which is why most of the concentration is the front.
I meant the red cushion on the back, where you lean on - but thanks for clearing that up:poly121:
