Clean&Sharp Hand painted textures Help!
Hello everyone 
I posted a Thread yesterday, but somehow it didn't seem to show up anywhere, perhaps its because I'm a new user or it got deleted ..?
Anyway. I just recently checked out Spiral Knights, and it instantly made me want to get back to hand painted textures, but im really struggling with these kind of clean hand painted textures that they have.
Here are some of my results:
As you can see I cant seem to get that Clean and sharp look.
The Spiral Knights textures are all in .png's so im trying my best to study them and improve and Ive looked at all the handpainting tutorials Ive come across, but none of them show this simple style of hand painting. Dont think I can post theire textures here for comparison though
Perhaps its my brush ? Im mostly using chalk brushes
perhaps its the size of my tiles ? most of theire tiles are 65x65, I'm at 128x128
I was hoping any of the extremely talented artists (pretty much all of you )could maybe push me in the right directions?
