I'm most excited for/hoping for a better Viewport Canvas, as many have voted on.
I've had to deal with texture seams at work very often in lightmaps, and not being able to paint across multiple pieces of geometry was the biggest downfall for me. I'd very much like to see that happen if possible. Along with higher FPS with Viewport Canvas running, and keyboard shortcuts like Photoshop, for resizing brushes, setting opacity, ect.
How does the Uservoice get accumulated and rated on what gets what priority, is there a re-vote once the most voted items get picked? I see loads of requests which are getting some high numbers, and which, personally saying this, are stupid requests.
I mean Multi-UV stitching as well quick LSCM unwrap is much higher on my list of 'things to get and should have' instead of 'Multi-Scenes in one Instance' and/or 'Iray for RTT' so I was wondering about that.
The Uservoice is just *one* input into the process. We will still prioritize some things that aren't in Uservoice because we think they are important for one reason or another. So, cast your vote, we monitor what is getting voted on and we let you know if we're researching any of it. There is no commitment on our end to follow Uservoice explicitly (because we can't make such commitments) - but it is definitely one means of telling us what you think are important.
I'm sure you have nothing to do with the 'area' site, but I have some grievances with it.
1. There are pretty major login problems. For example. I tried to login tonight. Wouldnt accept it. So I sent a confirmation email to my address. It arrived. The proper username for the site was used within. I click on the link to confirm the new password, and was forwarded to a page that said that my email address was invalid or something, even though the site just sent it an email, with the correct username inside! Barking. Sites with poor login design are a pet peeve of mine cause I constantly have to re-register.
2. The site is very very slow. Even on Chrome. And I mean unacceptably slow.
3. Can't download the video training!! What if my internet cuts out, or I am away from a connection but need to know something! I can't even download them using third party browser plugins, its blocked. Kinda crazy.
If you could get these grievences into the right hands that would be great
