Good evening Polycounters,
I've been peering around this forum for a bit now and thought it was high time I posted the little project I've been working on; an M5 Stuart tank.
Once finished, I hoped the final product will be suitable as a game asset with the final polycount being around 40,000 tris (I've seen current gen vehicle assets being around this figure, depending on the platform and genre) with 3 1024*1024 maps for defuse, normal & specular.
Below is my progress so far on my low poly model. I've love any thoughts you guys might have before I Unwrap.
Also, If anybody has any tips for using/building high poly meshes to generate normal maps then I'd be most greatful.
