Transformers CGI Dynamic Duo

Hey guys,
I haven't posted much here, but I thought this would be a great place to post updates of two transformers that my friend and I are working on.
We are aiming to have these as portfolio models and get them in some sort of short film (Kind of like a reel to show off the models).
I am personally working on Wheelie from Transformers 2/3(?) and my friend Bryan is working on Iron Hide.
He will be posting some work tomorrow, but until then, here is what I started a few hours ago:

I have the upper hand atm, as Bryan barely just started blocking out his model.

Lots to do on the head still.
Small update. Deleted about 3 hours of work because I started to look to close to the small details and I lost sense of scale.
Been paying for that the last 12 hours of my work ;/

Update.
Next update will be when I have part of the body done.
I plan to send the guy who created Wheelie an email and ask him for his input on the model/textures and what not when I finish this.

Alright, major update.
P.S. I have been studying the model and noticed the arms are a bit small. The detail is all there, (apart of the symbols), but the arms need to be a bit longer. Will fix.

and yea i know what u mean about the pc upgrade, been through that too cause of the transformer but now i need more memory cause i only got 12gb

Yeah you DEFINITELY need a decent render setup.
If you're going to take any more pics from zbrush, PLEASE press p. This orthopersp shots are killin me :P

Finding it hard to find references of his middle section even though I have Transformers 2 and 3 in 1080p pure bluray formats...

btw, go with some dark and abit shiny shader to make all the details visible

Its getting there though!
Did some quick shots in zbrush, NO modelling was done in zbrush however. I did all my modelling 3ds max.

@Lonewolf; Yea, after chatting with you during that live stream, I decided to go back and add small details. Now that I look at it, I still have much to go. Hopefully I find a good tutorial for some awesome renders.
