Does anybody know how to set your lights in Maya so that their position is relative to the camera's view? basically I've got a simple character view with two spotlights, 1 in front 1 in back, and a couple point lights. What I'd like to do is parent the spotlights to the camera so that when I rotate the camera and change the view they stay in front and behind. The Parent function doesn't work because regardless of whether I pick the camera or a light, maya says it's already a parent of the "world."
I've tried the maya help files and google already but I can't find a way to enter this query and actually get a relevant result.

i do that often for my work. create light. open outliner. click light, shift-click persp or your cam, press p for parent. i have maya 2011, but i do not think that makes a difference...
