Alright, this is sort of a newb question but I'm modeling this trailer and I'd like to know the best way about adding the border/rivets part...is it better to model it in the high poly or just add it in the texture or what...any suggestions please...thx

Simplify it for the sake of a game and use a strip of geometry to trim out everything. The strip would have a horizontal tile applied to it, probably just the top edge of your material sheet.
i was thinking about doing strips of geometry...especially because I'm not doing a rundown version like the one in the pic so all those small bends and dents wouldn't be there...not as many at least...
but if i were to model it in the high poly...should i bring it into mudbox for those small details or just keep it in max....i've haven't worked with mudbox much...esp. for hard surfaces

sweet...i actually have nDo and i totally forgot about it
i have basic knowledge on both zbrush and mudbox...gonna pick one up tho...which should i focus on for environment work...or is it just preference?
