Suggestions about new rig

Hey guys, my pc broke down and i have to get a new one :shifty:
So, i have about 400 dollars, (maybe 500 but i dont think i could get them) i can spend on the pc if i sacrifice my bass amp and i have been thinking in getting the following, please tell me your toughts and suggestions(pc is going to be used for gaming and 3d work):
Chip: Amd Phenom ii 3.2(still have to decide which one of the familly)
Mother; Ashrock, i dont know the exact model i am doing some research
Power supply: No idea, but something around 500 watts? (help please :P)
Ram:4 gb ddr3
Video Card: Hd5670 Ati Radeon Xfx 1gb Ddr3 (i thinki its a really cheap and amaizing card in its price range, plus dx11 support)

Just the two hds and the case of the pc

mobo: ASrock 1155 H67M ($85)
ram: 4gb (2x2) ddr3 1333 ripjaw ($45)
gpu: nvidia gts 450 1gb ($100)

total=$355

For the power supply just browse through neweggs selection that still fits into your budget afterwords and see what has a lot of good reviews.

Thanks for the reply! I am going to be able to spend up some more on the rig and i am currentlly doing some research on the video card, reading reviews and all.
I have came up with this:
Vga Gigabyte Ati Radeon Hd 5670 1gb Gddr5 Hdmi Dvi Pci-e
vs
Hd5670 Ati Radeon Xfx 1gb Ddr3 Hdmi Dvi Pcie

Theres a 20 dollar difference between them, and i think the gddr5 one is way better. opinions?

Yea gddr5 is going to be much faster the gddr3.

Browse through PSU's that have free shipping, as shipping can be an extra $20-30 for the psu.

A question, is 600 watts enough for the video card i mentioned radeon 5670 and an amd phenom ii 955?
