...as most of the world continues to fall under the influence of Lauren Faust and her Equestrian armies, I find myself...compelled...to make 3D models of the main cast. I opted to start with a pegasus, as they'd have the most parts to rig, but find myself stuck on a few things, and uncertain on how to proceed.
For now, I need some insight on modelling things like eyelids and such. I'm going to experiment with some of the other parts I'm stuck on, but the eyelids are the most glaring--pun unintended--issue I'm having. Initially, I was going to simply make a copy of the primitive I used for the eye, scale it up a little, and use it as a clunky alternative, but I don't feel that that's the way to go. I'm using 3DS Studio Max 2011 (Student's edition).
(No, these are not the final textures. Yes, I love Fluttershy. No, I don't appreciate you judging me!)

This is probably the easiest way, though I'm sure there are a multitude of different ways to approach eyelids that i have no knowledge of.
