so what do you guys think of the Bf3 alpha? there are videos of gameplay surfacing on youtube(though alot are getting taken down by either ea or the uploaders) also any of you lucky enough to participate?
i think as far as people posting their videos ea would probably ban em though some people are smart and are blacking out their names. but what do you guys think? i personally think it looks great and the destruction is alot better(it seems like parts of objects have more with to them and don't fly really far like in bc2)
its an alpha and its mostly internal I think, so yea EA will be yanking vids left and right. you would have to be pretty stupid to post something while working for them.
I've never heard of an NDA with a closed beta. EA has done this with other games where I can assure that there was no NDA.
Players are forced to say "I agree", but that's not legally binding in any way shape or form.
yes, you are agreeing to an NDA when you click the I agree button - trust me, I've been on the other side of closed betas. Breaking NDA results in getting kicked out of the beta.

Clicking 'I agree' is not legally binding like signing an NDA is... because it is impossible to know who clicked that 'I agree' button. I could have my nephew click 'I agree' and technically that would mean I personally agreed to nothing.
So as you said, the worst they can do is kick you out of the beta.

Wow, the example of "I'm not responsible for what I do and sign" at it's finest. Also, little hint, if you read carefully the wording of any agreement, you'll notice that in it, you're also agreeing that you're person who is using this account at all times.
Also, ontopic, I think the last place you should be asking for such as thing is on game-design related forums. There is a reason Kotaku can upload random videos of gameplays from anonymous people and call it day. They don't have an ID to associated with.
It's a bit of a disconcerting game for me. There was a comment somewhere about how it's the most realistic combat simulator to date, or something that was especially saddening.

I suppose it's just not my cup of tea and I'm turned off to it.
That comment was from a press release about modern warfare 3, which is worse, since that game is everyting BUT realistic.
Activision Blizzard Inc. plans to launch an online service called Call of Duty Elite this fall that will work with the next major edition of the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and future installments of the hyper-realistic combat-simulation game.

The gameplay trailers a while back convinced me of that
Then don't say it.
It's just alpha, and nothing that hasn't been shown yet. My hopes are still through the roof.
