Hey guys (new guy)
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm South African, 26 at the moment, and have been working as a production designer in the online gambling industry for a number of years.
I'm quite a newbie to 3d and have only really worked a bit in ZBrush in my own time because work just hasn't called for it as yet. However I have recently been given study assistance by my company to study for a diploma in 3d game art online, so in a couple of weeks time things are going to get real for me and I will have to crunch in the time after hours. I'm very excited to be able to get into 3d properly. I know I will probably have to give up the actual playing of games, and most others things and just commit to studying/modeling/sculpting like a devoted hermit monk.
Looking at some of the stuff out there it seems pretty daunting at times, so I though it would be best to just be pro active, get out there and start posting, sharing, getting crits etc. Anyway, 'hi guys', I hope to contribute and learn.
