I don't know if it's because that's an orthographic screencap, but the biggest thing for me is the forehead is too flat/vertical. Men in general have more slanted foreheads than women, but Cage's is particularly angled - all the way back through his receded hairline. Fix that and I think you'll see a big improvement, because the front view itself is fairly recognizable.
This made me laugh at how similar it does look, great start.
Couple of things:
Bigger ears, thicker ears even more so, more shape to them and larger ear lobes from what I can see in that small pic.
The nostrils need work on the holes and above on teh fibro-fatty tissue. (checked the anatomy ;D)
I agree with two listen, a wider chin would improve things.
Something is gnawing at me about the cheek bones, can't put my finger on it. Would need more ref.
By the looks of it he is getting some jowls under round his chin and neck. You could really do with a side shot of him at this current age. But aside from that this is a cracking start!
Edit: Also the procerus, the part in between your eyebrows above the bridge of your nose should be wider. Bring the eyebrows either side of this down slightly. They also look a little defined, maybe soften that? As I said, more ref would help.
I don't know what these guys are talking about, Nick Cage is AWESOME. Also, is this sculpt for still rendering use, or is it intended to be posed and animated? if its going to be still rendered, might as well go classic Nick-Cage 'Bat Shit Crazy' and show some emotion and style.
Ha, just watched Drive Angry yesterday was a great film. Nice Sculpt. The thing that looks off to me is the forehead its too big at the top. I can see you've followed the ref, but those lines look more like just skin bulges(on the ref)whereas on yours they look like the skull has formed them. The skull doesnt curve like.
Lol Nicolas cage is awesome!! I just love most of his movies and drive angry looks like a "nic cage" classic. I'm ashamed to say this but I have not watched it yet....:-(
I want to give him emotion but right now I'm way more concerned about what type of hairstyle to give him. Sooo much to choose from. I was thinking maybe something like this
Thanks again guys, I pretty much took everyone's critique and tried to work on those things. Main concern was the forehead which I found a little challenging to fix. I think I improved it.

Kinda sums up Nicolas Cage's look 90% of the time.
He also seems to have a lil more of a bulge beneath his lower lip.
