Hello!
This is a character I've been working on for a while. I posted some wip pics in the WAYWO thread a while ago, but I think I'm finally calling it finished.
I had been spending a lot if time at work on wii assets, so I wanted to make a game character with a ~20k poly budget, some big textures and nice shaders
All of the textured images are taken straight from the maya viewport using the hardware renderer.
I used Leo Covarrubias' lcSkinShader and lcUberShader for the shading:

coat needs more shadow on skin
is the texture photosourced or hand painted?
It looks so good.
Other than Maya, what software did you use?
Absolutely looooove it
so damn neat.
beautiful legs and coat, nice pose. the hair shades a bit grey tho and could do with a bit more 'fluffyness' in my opinion. it looks quite solid right now.
Bonebrew22: the skin textures are mostly a 3dsk concoction; everything else is baked from the sculpt, and painted a bit.
Barbarian: Zbrush, photoshop, xnormal, nex for maya
Really like this one
Gorgeous work otherwise!
Very well executed piece
Good job, richithekiller.
My only complaint is that you really played it safe with clothing and colors. What a person wears tells about the character almost as much as his face. And in that regard your character lacks character.
Also casting shadows on the model would make it look much better I think
Something that "bothers" (lacking a better word) me about the coat is that the folds and model of the coat make it read a bit like a raincoat? And I'd expect it to be more glossy/plastic, but at the moment it reads like normal fabric.
But this might be just me
yeah i second that ... this is one of my favorite sculpts i´ve seen ever  ...but i also would love to see the coat with a bit more glossy/plastic material...since the first wip post it remind me on the plastic transparent raincoat from bladerunner here i would love to see a transparent version like this here or here...fantastic work!!!
