I wish the best for you Cooljay. People only tried to help you here!
My advice is to make a new username and start fresh, with a new attitude. Listen carefully to all the advice, apply it, and believe in your own ability to improve a little more. As it is, people only think bad things now when they see the name 'Cooljay'.
Good art requires tons of sweat and blood, but I think you can do it! Do consider.
Didn't sound like such a bad idea to me and it would not be leaving.
And yeah don't make him create a new user then we will just have one more topic like this in a week, I know it seams like I am enjoying this but I am really not I think it is tragic, so many great critics and helpful comments wasted on one person who does not want to learn.
A lost cause, use your time to critique people who welcome it guys, not just bumping this thread to page one all the time. Some great artists posting in this thread, who's attention would be muchly appreciated else where i feel.
Just fixed some things to make it more to next gen standards. Got the most use out of the specularity and gloss as much as I could. I felt sure to remove as much likeness as I could, as long as it has the same texture scheme and normal map baking is all that matters. Giving it the name of the character will make up for it. It's not like anyone who plays these games care right ?
You are entering a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.

Maybe you could narrow the face a bit?... Your bind pose is a bit curious, how come the elbow cylinders pointing very awkwardly? When I yell at my character modellers I try to get a very idle-like bindpose so that the deformations aren't that bad when laying their arms to the side of the body.

I think the eyes are a little too big. I do very much think you have chosen a good pose for the model that will help you when you enter your sculpting package to add more next generation detail and also i think you should consider installing microsoft paint to aid you in the texturing department. Good luck and bon voyage!

You know this is not the original right ?
I think I spelled it out enough of the intent of the picture
It's mocking people who make their work unusually shiny and go off model and out of style.
So you're mocking other artists? Don't really know if that's what you should spend your time on but... Yeah. I'm spending time writing in this thread so I guess that makes us both wrong.

He has asked to be left alone so stop preaching to him. If he posts art in the future he now knows what to expect.
You can't just tell people to be quiet, this isn't a private thread.
Hey Virt, hit me up on IRC and I'll help you sort out that box!
You must be a troll right?
No one in their perfect mind makes something like that and thinks it's pretty.
You just trolling us man.

It's a shirt, duh.

Hah no way. There is no way I can top that kind of level of stupidity
