As title says its my 2nd attempt think im sort of getting there.
I'm trying to keep the below model under 2k so can add additional polys if needed. as its just above 1.5k with the head(its hidden at the mo)
could people give Critism on it and also suggestions on how i can make areas better, i think the elbows and knees aint deforming the best.
Everyone else think the legs are way to long? I did previously play with extending the body but then it just looked totally wrong. She has heeled boot on which make her legs look longer.
I have been looking at other models, and didn't think the proportions where that far out.
Nice work! but if you go to fix the butt I would also take a look at that massive 5 star junction you have there. Other then that I like it and hope to see more!
@ cooljay I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that the legs are too tall using the head to judge if the characters head is not shown. Also 8 heads tall is used for Hero characters and not all models must conform to it.
thank for the replies guys, i'll work on those suggestions.
when ive create a quick rig, the front of the knee deforms well, even though looking at the static model you wouldnt think it would. whats the best way to model knees and elbows for animation?
like i said, i have a few more polys to play with so can add geometry if needed.

ps, anyone know of any good unwrapping tutorials? i can't seem to do the boots. texturing is what i lack the most. im working on it though
