I'm basically looking for something that will speed this up my texture seam cleanup, at this point I'm still doing it this way:

But it's pretty tedious especially on large meshes. I'm wondering if there is something similar to zapplink for Zbrush that will allow me to basically send the viewport to photoshop to paint and project it back onto the mesh automatically without having to go through the process of setting up multiple uv channels and render to texture.

And an example of it in use:

Don't quote me on this... but I think you need to switch to scanline to get good results, the last time I used it with MR it went a bit... funky. As I say, don't quote me on that.

I wrote my stuff back then because I though I could get better samplings and using photoshop on the fly instead of a crappy paint app in max (they improved stuff though now)
Now, most softwares tend to have this kind of tool, but i couldn't say which is the most efficient/price reasonable (blender )
@Noors: Bodypaints way out of my price range, I'd probably consider 3DCoat before it but thanks. (Blender is always a last resort for me)
@fletch: Doesn't look like it from what I can tell. I think this will work for what I need though.
