I'm sure this has been asked before (and I can't find it), but how do I activate alpha channel shadows. The material is two sided, but still no shadows.
here's the big question that must be asked.. what are your shadows being cast onto? a brush? or a mesh?
if its a brush and you havent changed the properties of it, id suggest clicking on the surface and pressing F5, then setting your lightmap res to 1.
if its a mesh, then you probably just need to up your lightmap resolution as well.. but this is done in the staticmesh editor. this number needs to go higher, unlike the bsp surfaces.
also just in case, make sure your material is set to blend_masked, not blend_translucent.
