Hay guys, as the title suggests, I am looking for the method that is mostly used in the industry for creating the shirt or pants texture.
Last time I preferably unwrapped the pants UVs, created the texture in photoshop (the traditional way of doing things before zbrush came out) and than imported in to the zbrush with UV co-ordinates, with texture and bump map. Than it was very easy for me to sculpt out with the help of bump maps and all.
This method is more tedious than just using spotlight for texture. Although spotlight is very helpful if you wish to poly paint the texture on the face and the eyes and for the body even, it might not be a good method to poly paint the cloths because; Suppose you are making texture of jeans where there are many seams to be implemented. You would want to apply the traditional way of texturing it (though it does take a while).
A friend of mine contradicts other wise.
So my question to you is, what method is used professionally?

Cloth texture = spotlight
Logo on cloth texture = spotlight
seams on the cloth = UV
etc. I hope you understand what I mean.
So there isnt any specific pro way of doing this? =\
lol, its a tool in Zbrush that you can use to project High quality details onto a model.
