Andreas -Yep i can see what you mean. The normal map is probably a little to strong,.i did however recently watch the film again and it is like the poster a similar material
I like the color and "life" the character has.
As for criticisms, I think you could go back and rework your face a little to nail a better likeness.
This might be a weird critique, but his arm hair looks a little off. Maybe its a little too thick?
Good job!
loving the high saturation in the beauty shots, why not make this part of the texture?
Cooljay - You are right about the Normal map.time permittingh I may go back and tidy up.
ScoobyDoofius - Pretty hasppy with the likeness,As above I could go back and tweak his features a little.Lookingh at my ref material the chin and possibly the eyes need a little attention.
gsokol- COuld be the way its rendered out I see your point though.Maybe a case of loading the model and just diff and checking that over.
dustinbrown/hawken - For the Beauty Shot final render I tweaked the colour spec msp and in Marmoset played with the intensity and lights.I wanted a rich comic book/poster look and personally pretty happy with the result
