So I was looking through my VHS collection and stumbled onto some old hidden gems that some of the new age kids might have never heard of.
This thread is to post some movies you would put in your favs list keep it to one movie per post and try to include a movie poster and the movies summary so that others might read it and decide if they want to watch it.

Summary? amm... kids are out for adventure. It's a must watch, why spoil the surprise if you have not seen this movie.
Dracula is trying to take over the world, recruits other legendary monsters and there's a scary German guy. Seriously, a fun watch, especially if you have kids.

It's Elia Kazan, it's in color, it's widescreen and it's one of three movies James Dean took part in before his premature death. A great serious watch.
My first introduction to a "you lose" ending.
Fight Club.
It was great seeing Brad Pit actually act for the first time in his career. Had a good few good messages too, even if its hard for some to figure it out. "Is that your blood?" "Some of it, yeah."
Shawshank Redemption.

It's always good to see a story unfold knowing the whole time something wasn't quite right, something was off. Then have the story flipped on its head.

I first saw this on a plane ride as a teen. I had no idea what it was, and I fell in love. I probably know every line in this movie. I know... I know... not real life, etc. Pure entertainment, for me... with a kick-ass soundtrack. I love Hackers.
RISC is good
Deckard, a blade runner, has to track down and terminate 4 replicants who hijacked a ship in space and have returned to earth seeking their maker.

it's horrible.. but I've probably watched it more times than any other movie.
Favorite since I was a kid. Sadly, they decided to actually make sequels of it *facepalm*
& many mentioned here already.

Definitely one of the greatest adventure movies ever and Studio Ghibli's best in my opinion.
I've probably seen JAWS around 100 times or more, and I never get bored of it when I still watch it. Best movie by far.

balls out terror that inspired dead space. A rescue crew investigates a spaceship that disappeared into a black hole and has now returned...with someone or something new on-board. sunshine is a close second though and a bucket load of ghibli
