Moving Advice - Canada to US
So I've recently accepted an offer for a non gaming related job in San Jose. I'm currently living in Edmonton Canada so its quite the big move.
Now I don't know too much about the San Jose / San Fran Bay area and need to find an apartment. Relocation is paid for so money isn't an issue but I need to be as efficient as possible in my search. It was suggested to me that I should try and find a rental agency to look for apartments in the area for me. This way when I fly down to look a bunch of places are already lined up for viewings.
Has anyone ever used a rental agency before? Are there any in San Jose? I'm not having much luck with google at the moment.
Anyone who has advice about moving to a different country or knows the san jose / san fran area feel free to chip in. Any info I can gather to make this go as smoothly as possible would be much appreciated.
