I began doing this as a test to see if adding more geo would help me with smaller details. After struggling to get to grips with subdivision modeling, I took some advice and tried not to 'optimize' my high poly.

I found 3 different manufacturers for the design, Barska, Humvee and Simmons..I used the 'Humvee' for my main reference. It is for a normal map so the edges are slightly exaggerated.

Crits welcome. I'm not sure if I will continue to create the game model, trying to focus more on subd modeling for now.
