The flat surface on the side of your stock for the lockplate doesn't match your ref at all, take a look at it again.
and yeah, it's too thin, and I'm not sure why you've completely detached those parts of the stock (under the lockplate), it should all be one piece and smoothly flow into the rest of the stock.
The profile of the stock when viewed from above is also wrong, it shouldn't indent towards the middle of it going into the grip part, it should just be mostly flat and slowly taper from the wide butt into the somewhat narrower grip part and then taper back out again into the wide lockplate/action area.
