I'm still learning anatomy, drawing 2D, but I love planning for the future. So I've found these books. Do any of you know them or would recommend me to buy it?
I got The Game Artist's Guide to Maya ages ago. At the time normal mapping was just becoming the "norm" for game characters. While this book does touch on normal mapping briefly, I think the book will only teach you anything if you are a beginner but I reckon there are probably more up to date books out by now.
I haven't really bought books since really. All I ever need to know is on the internet these days ;P
Try Eat3D as an alternative.
EDIT; also this book relates to pre Maya 8.5 I think. So quite dated.
