Stone Placement Tool

I came across this while looking for a position/rotation noise modifier or script. To put it simply... its pretty much a 'WIN' button...

Sorry if this has being posted before, I did a quick search but felt even if it hadn't this deserves a full page post!

Just adding to that, does anyone know of a modifier or script for 3dsmax which can add position and rotational noise to a selection of objects?

I ended up finding a script, its called Randomizer. It basically does what it says on the tin. Select lots of objects and type your min and max and press the win button! Would defiantly recommend it!

Yeap, I also use Advanced Painter v1.6.0 (By Herman Saksono) to place small objectes on a surface normal (like bolts and shit) it's like using a brush to fine place gribble on top of your objects.

I've used this a few times in production and it never gave me really satisfactory results, I've have faster and better results either z brushing or using crazy bump voodoo

I like the tool, I might be using it wrong but it doesn't look very good on a plane, idk I am probably doing it wrong
