This looks great and the idea is funny, the duct tape will melt before you have time to take your finger off the trigger though Awesome execution regardless!
Can could use some work. It feels more like plastic than aluminum. I don't really know my way around materials, but I think its spec is too tight right now. You wouldn't get such a sharp highlight; it would be softer.
Top of the can also feels really flat. Not sure that it would actually matter from a first-person view, and I wouldn't expect the kind of person who would wield this gun would let you get close enough to see it before blowing your brains out, but I think you could afford to extrude it in and have that lip be actually modeled instead of just textured.
Yeah the specular on the can should have the same colors as the diffuse. And the top and bottom parts look different than the sides. And the dark gray can color needs to be a lot lighter.
the aluminum was really hard to get the material right for since it's so reflective and you have to balance cubemaps with spec and gloss and all that. i agree it probably isn't the best material on there but at least it's next to the duct tape, haha. i think its serviceable though. hopefully i can get it a bit better next time
the reason i didnt model the top of the can in at all is as you say, it's meant to be an FPV weapon primarily so that would never really be seen
Also regarding the can the proportions are way off. The taper at the top is too tight and pokes out too far, the curvature is too rounded, the label at the back creeps up too far, and the can itself seems too long or too slim. And like tonysladky said the top is too shallow. Cylinders are a bitch to work with lowpoly because they polycount quickly adds up if you want a smooth round form, but just having that inward extrusion at the tip will add a lot especially because it's a focal point.
Seeing as the proportions of your can are so off you might want to take a look at your uzi too. I can't really spot any big issues because I'm not that familiar with that model or guns in general.
Other than that good work on the handling of the materials and surfaces. The can is a bit too glossy as tonysladky said but the duct tape and leather grip in particular look great.

thanks for the crits man
i have to disagree with the top of the can being a focal point since it'll never be seen in-game. that's why it's a flat plane and has a minimal amount of UV space allocated
i did check the proportions and label just now and i seem to have got it mostly right, although i bungled the curvature near the top as you noticed. i'm not old enough to buy the actual reference so i had to use some soda can my roommate had which threw me off i guess. also i got the oz. and some text wrong. pretty spot on otherwise tho
I think it's really just the base diffuse value throwing it off, it's just too dark of a grey.
While the muzzle is rarely seen for a first person view, you'd imagine a gun like this might have some kind of "attach" animation for this goofy silencer. Regardless I think modern production throughput, especially for polycount, means I don't think skimping on the pull tab is really ncessary. Seems more distracting since it's such an obvious area of interest.
Otherwise I am glad to see you follow through so well on this design, very well modeled. The humor comes through. I am a little distracted by the arbitrary yellow paint at intervals on the side, it is so regularly spaced but arbitrarily applied as to distract, especially from the pricetag which is a very good joke. If it were me I'd pull the paint from the rest of the gun save the front sight post area; tacky dayglo nail polish is often employed as the poor man's tritium night sights.

P.s. is that can serving as a sort of custom silencer?
This might be personal taste, but I think the specular on the soda can looks a bit to uninteresting at the moment.

Nice Brink feel to the gun. Could use a more chaotic anti-establishment alternate skin to feel more like the resistance guns you were inspired by.
Can does need a lighter diffuse and better spec since it is coming off as dark grey plastic rather than bare extruded aluminum.
And maybe some hello-kitty stickers on the side.
