If he knows about show end result and sub-d modeling, I'm pretty sure he knows about F4.
Anyway, yeah, I have show end result set to my spacebar, and I agree it's annoying to turn off wireframe everytime I toggle it. The easiest way to go about this would be to create a custom macro to assign to the hotkey. I'll see if I can put one together.
Hmm, strange, it works for me here. What version of Max are you using? Like I said, I'm still fairly new to maxscript, so maybe one of the vets will drop in and figure out why it's not working. But I'll try to fix it till then.
I think you might be running the script each time instead of binding it to a key? It's a macro script so you run it once and then it will show up in: "Main menu > Customize > Customize UI > Keyboard tab > Category: Custom Keys"
Ahh cool, yea I agree I think everyone should learn to do simple scripts like that.
/agreed. I've been writing photoshop scripts for years, and was really afraid of actually coding MaxScripts, basically because you have to know what everything is called internally. Knowing that MaxScript has it's own help file, and then just googling things you don't understand will get you a very, VERY long ways.

From there you bind it to a key.
