Our client is currently looking for a Environment Artist / World Modeller on a contract basis based in Surrey.
The successful Environment Artist / World Modeller will be experienced in order to 'hit the ground running' with at least one AAA shipped title.
World Modelling applicants should have a strong understanding of creating high quality real-time models, combined with an excellent knowledge of landscapes. Knowledge of World Machine, Geo Control, Vue or similar terrain package will also be an essential requirement of the successful World Modeller candidate.
Environment Artists should be fluent in a major 3D package, preferably Maya and have a good understanding of normal map creation process with Zbrush or mud box.
You will understand what makes a good game environment and hold a strong passion for gaming. The successful World Modeller will be able to learn quickly and have confidence in their ability to understand custom tools.
Environment Artists MUST have relevant examples of real-world style work in their portfolios.
