Hey everyone my game Hunted The Demons Forge came out today. So, here is my updated portfolio site with my Hunted The Demons Forge stuff in it. This is what I have been doing for the past 3 years. Some of my personal stuff is up there as well..

Impressive stuffs! I would take out the home page, since it doesn't go directly to the main subject, which is the gallery.

There are way too many images in "The Depths" that look almost the same. Also the image menu is tricky... and I think that's really common with flash. I love the pier, but how come no close ups of the airship?

Yeah, you really need a new portfolio site. Flash-stuff loading, fancy gallery that is confusing, etc. The scrolling for the gallery is really annoying. No flash, straight to gallery. There are a bunch of threads about how to create folio-sites, you should check them out. :]

The art is great.

The site navigation is a bit of a chore and I think its overly complicated. The navigation lead me to leave your site before I had seen all I wanted to see. It also serves up really small images even after images are clicked and expanded. What if I wanted to use one as a desktop background? heh?

Thanks for the kind words/ annoyances haha. The navigation is an issue and unfortunately for now it is within the design itself. I will have to eventually swap out the type of gallery I am using.

As far as the small images I am not sure why the site compresses them down to a smaller size.

For now I will leave it as is, since I started my new job at Trion Worlds. I will eventually get around to changing things but for now it is what it is.

ya for the gallery i think your best off just putting the images in a list, and makeing them 960px wide so the fit well on the page, and just directly linking to high res images or using lightbox for the high res ones.

easier you navigate, and it allows people to save the images if they want, and it just works, no plug-ins needed.

Ya polygon, I am currently up here. I just started the job this week.
The site will be redone eventually like I said. When I put it together it was a real quick process where I needed to get some stuff up and the navigation wasnt to bad for me.
