Hey Polycounters, been a while since I posted something here, so here goes.
This is a portfolio piece I´m working on, a prop for some kind of war game.
Currently at 4401 tris without the piedistal. Let me know what you think so far!
your vehicle proportions are completely screwed. I've never seen a car with a front overhang that long or front wheels pushed that far into the passenger compartment. It helps to actually look at references instead of just modeling from your head. Also the shapes and angles are completely wrong for any kind of believable automobile. Some parts are boxy and 1980s and others are rounded and 90s. Some parts don't even look like a car, just random pieces of metal stuck together.
Pretty much what Kitteh said, get refs, blueprints etc. also did a quick gif paintover to show some areas that need some attention:
- widen up wheel arches and move to more appropriate area.
- windows are to high for body height (not fixed in paintover)
- too much rust, break it up a bit with some left over paint, grunge dirt etc.
