Hello, everyone!
First time poster, long time viewer. I just recently graduated from college, so these are the things I've been working on since then. I'm trying to make myself known as a 3D character artist so I've taken some large strides these last couple months to improve on that aspect of my work.
Feel free to critique everything/anything. While these are WIPs, I'd also really love some ideas on what I can do for a better presentation too. These were all made/rendered from Zbrush, with some modeling done in 3d Studio Max.
Concept from the awesome guys at Creature Box (

My sculpt so far. I've been meaning to add holes in the loops around the chin strap, and the piece around his neck is still rough, but I think this is the most finished piece I have to show.
Concept by the wonderful Rune Brandt Bennicke, from my professor Tony White's 2D animated short "Bad Penguin." (

I worked on this for about 3 hours today, felt inspired by the character to do something fun because I love exaggerated, cartoony stuff in 3D.
Anatomy study using multiple pieces of reference. Trying to convey an athletic average male.
Thanks for looking at my work. I also have a portfolio site with some game-ready assets at (
