The BE community is an organization who is developing a new 3D online environment intended to help young people fighting cancer to meet and learn from each other
What a fantastic idea it is to design a realtime environment that can show young frightened cancer patients that they are not alone! That they are not fighting by themselves, but with the support of thousands others just like them who they can interact with freely. More details are on the official website above.
The organization OurBricks has organized a contest to help this deserving community get some awesome new choices in avatars. Let's help them out.
I think it would be a great idea to get some community support for this cause. There are many gifted artists around here, and I know we can
directly make a real difference in the lives of thousands of kids. Please feel free to share this information to spread the word.
Thank you your time

My studio has made several games that required a lot of asset creation. I'd like to make the assets we created available to the cancer related project for free.
I have characters, vehicles, animals, and lots of environmental assets. I'm even open to sending you guys assets from my upcoming game majestic-12.
Please let me know if any of this would be helpful to the good work these people are trying to do.
@EmAr - Very much so!
@Shammii - I have a special place in my heart for this subject, as well Even though you do not model, I'm sure the organization could use help from all fields of our industry.
@Everyone - Obviously assets will probably not be accepted if they are considered "mature content" (blood, gore, nudity, etc etc). You can understand why. However, if you have something that is questionable, I'd suggest to submit and let them decide.
Old models are okay, as long as it meets the design brief (link on the contest page).
Everything they can add to their library will directly affect the cause. Whether it's props, environments, vehicles, or characters, they will have a use for whatever someone is kind enough to donate. Obviously, the only limit is what would be considered "mature content".
I will contact her again and see if there is a place where we can send assets (maybe another department). She is a very busy woman, and I'd like to make any donations we can muster to be as effortless as possible for them.
If anyone is interested in donating assets to the cause, please feel free to contact me, or the organization directly. Of course, you can still participate in the contest if you like. Thanks in advance
