GoDaddy Web hosting

Anyone here using GoDaddy for their web hosting. When I first uploaded my website everything was fine running smooth and fast. Now for the past three days my website either takes like 30seconds to load or doesn't load at all. I have called them twice and they couldn't find a problem. I am just curious if anyone else is/had the same problem.

I use GoDaddy, but I actually live in the Phoenix area. So in the worst case scenario, I can march down to their offices and scream at someone.

I have had the occasional issue with their service, but I've been using them for years. (sooner or later issues crop up with any hosting company, just the nature of the business) Keep calling them and making noise if your problem isn't solved. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Also, you might want to check with your own internet provider. It could be that the issue lies there. Explore every option.

When it comes to GoDaddy I hear so many opinions about it I am not sure who to believe.

I hear that GoDaddy sucks, that you don't have as much control over your website, etc. from one side. Others say its cheap, works for them, reliable and so on.

I'm still left wondering about GoDaddy in the end.

only prob ive had so far is installing Wordpress through their admin panels. It worked fine for a day or two, then it never opened after that. Seems ok otherwise... even though i dont have shit up there, i hosted the site for my wedding on it, and everything was great.

Their stats tracking tools suck horrible ass though.

I've never had a problem with them. And they have some of the best customer service I've ever experienced.

I've used them for my web site since ever (almost 10 years). Never had any problems. They even call me and are super nice every few years.

It's worth noting that I tend to do all of my site maintenance myself, and touch the GoDaddy on-line toolkit as little as possible. Whenever I have my mileage varies, and I certainly wouldn't opt to use them if there was any other choice. So they aren't exactly sporting the best CMS. If that's what you're wanting, you should probably look elsewhere. I'm a web-coding monkey, and do all my own material, layouts, databases, etc...

Well it seems that after calling them all day they may have fixed the problem. Would you guys mind testing it out for me and telling me if you are having any problems viewing it.

Your site seems to be working ok for me.

Though you appear to be using the same large file size images for your preview images as your enlarged images, which probably slows things down a bit. You should use two sets instead.

Maybe its a problem on your side, I have been hosting my site with godaddy for years, never had a single problem, their feature and stuff are more then fine for me.

Your site loads fine on my side aswell
