HELP! Photoshop CS5

Ok so this happened out of nowhere and I have no idea how to fix it. Photoshop seems like it's treating my background color as the default color. So when I am using my brush and hold alt to color select it changes my background color rather then my foreground, same when I used the eyedropper tool and same as when I bring up the color HUD thing with shift-alt-right click. This is driving my crazy and searching google is bringing up nothing except the most basic of color selecting tutorials. Please help.

I did this a few months ago and forgot how to get it back.
it's probably from selecting the wrong swatch in teh Color panel, which sets that FG or BG color swatch as your 'active' color
