Akira's a cool character. This looks pretty good overall, but I think you could push the shapes more, particularly the limbs. You've got some sculpted definition in the arms, but overall it's a little too thin/cylindrical and doesn't have the planes and angles that would give it more interest.

The belt could be thicker and beefier, and the clothing in general looks a lot more simplified than the original design. I know the contest was all about redesign, but I think it's those little details that really sold her originally so it would be nice to see some more of that represented even they were floating meshes or something.

I worked on the belt and boots today but for the most part it's just been constant computer crashes.
