Hey all,
The problem I'm having exist about my viewport being smeared out when I have the Nitrous driver loaded
and if the shader type is being set to "shaded".
example:

Also when I put it on "realistic" with a simple mesh (a cube), rotating around the mesh is laggy.
When I use a bigger mesh (7.5k tris) it instantly switches to "wireframe"
I didn't have these problems on vista x64, but then I had downloaded the official release
and entered my student-serial key later on.
System specs:
Win7 x64
3DsMax 2012 Student version x64
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU T9550

I'm not sure all but of those I know and could ask right now all did have an ATI card.
But the strange thing is that it worked perfectly before I upgraded(full fresh install) to windows7 and downloaded the educational version of max instead of the offical release version.
I wouldn't hold out much hope for a mobile video card being able to do much of anything in realistic mode. But if anything is going to help it will probably be video drivers... which is another kick in the nuts because ATI typically tells you to get the drivers from the manufacture which won't update them nearly as often as they should.
