Damaged Ishtar Gate

Hello Everyone

I'm new to Polycount.com, so this is my first forum to post. This project took me a two weeks to complete it. I started this project last year for a level design class. While I was able to finish the model and texture on time for a game mod, I was not satisfied with the results. Finally, I decided to go back to this project and enhanced the texture and model how I want it to be! What do you guys think?

The texturing is looking a little muddy and noisy at this stage. I'd suggest taking off the dirt detail initially and grading the tiles so the contrast isn't quite so sharp on the grout between them.

From there it'd be worth really thinking about where the dirt and stuff is going to build up on an edifice like this. At the moment it looks rather like it's been flooded and mud and slime has built up around where the water has been.

Fix the mesh- lots of n-gons going on. Other than that, not bad. Welcome to Polycount!
