Eyes seem like they could use better texturing, and the skins seems too hand painted for a realistic texture. Try using some photo reference with this character.
Just take some more time on focusing on the color map and good luck.
I believe the OP should rework this character some more before considering this done. It seems too generic in texuring and look likes about the equivalent of a newbie just put a photo or Maya generated textures over the models and considering it okay.
Here is some tuts and tips. Take a look at them, then come back with pics.
I would like to see some impressive detail rather than texture stretch and bad uv mapping.
This isn't anything to be praised as good yet. I'm just saying this to help you out, and if you want to ignore it fine but just learn in the long run. You're only losing out on something to improve your technique

i have to admit that i really dont like the face either. i had another one with more work on the modeling but ended up saving over it :poly118: and ending up using this one because of the time that i had left to hand back the project. maybe ill just put a big visor on the helmet hahaha

I havent done my texture class at school yet, i still have alot to learn. ill go trough those tuts for sure! lets just call it a WIP for now hehehe
I see some good points but as Cooljay said, theres a lot to work on.The low poly seems a bit squared off in the chest. Make sure your volume in your low poly is representative of what you want in your high poly if that makes any sense.
