Switch and bait topics are not well praised on Poly count. Please post pics by either uploading or attaching from a dedicated service imageshack or photobucket. Do not waste people's time by not supplying anything to crit or enjoy.
ya i've been trying to figure out how to upload them from my computer i'm not trying to bait anyone...im too grown for that...just saying....so i need to put my things on photobucket???
The site is kind of hard to navigate. The home button loads a blank page. The contact page take you to text of your name and no link or way to get a hold of you? Should we google your name and hope we contact the right person?
Black background = not able to see the models silhouette. It's like a polar bear in a snow storm but in reverse.
The UV's are a bit messy.
There aren't any high poly models and it shows through on the materials. There doesn't seem to be any normal maps and without a high poly its pretty hard to create good normal maps.
Not being able to create normal maps is pretty much a deal breaker, unless you're planning to do models for mobile games? Even then someone with a more fully featured portfolio will probably land the job.
The weapons look ultra-low poly, like under 800polys. Also there is a big difference between making first person view weapons and weapons viewed in the game by everyone else, typically these are different models optimized for how they'll be viewed. If they're going to be the same weapon then you typically have more polys to play with than just ultra low poly Half Life1 world model specs.
You're going to need a lot of work before you can start applying...
thanks for the feedback....the site is not ready but i was having a hard time uploading on here....the weapons are roughly round 700 polys (should have the poly count in the pic) I took a workshop on Normal Mapping but still haven't learn yet to apply....im still in school and constanstly trying to improve myself...and any critic is welcomed and appericated....also ill be improving my website as i progress through my schooling...im just hoping when its all said and done ppl can look at where i started how i progress and where i stand now
