Hi,
I have this weird problem, where a robotic arm transport pieces from one self to another. My question is how in the earth can I bind the objects to the robotic arm only for a short period of time inside 3d studio max?!
PS : I'm in dying need of a solution.

This is mostly used only in 3dsmax, if you plan to export the animation you have do a bunch of low end animation baking and object snapping, its a pain in the ass.
But if you're just using max, link constraint.
1) Motion Panel (little wheel)
2) Main Transform Attribute
3) Assign Transform Controller
4) Link Constraint
Then you just add the two points and animate the weights.
(Stupid me, I could've been searching in max help though instead of spamming the thread. maybe this happens when you're tired and the deadline is close to the end )
