Here are some images from the udk scene. I'm fare away from done. Going to create a lot's of props and changes some textures. But feel free to give some feedback anyway! Cheers
ooh. very nice. lighting looks great BUT maybe change your environment color to not be so blue. as the shadowed area of the outside of the house should be more greenish brown than anything.
This sucks. Needs more bearskin in front of the fireplace.
On a more serious note i think you should introduce some more colors. The low texel density on roof panels (inside) is quite obvious to. Other then that i think this looks awesome! Love the light so far!
sltrOlsson: Offcourse I will add some bearskin and stuffed animals. Think I will change the woodpanel texture on the inside to something more dark and wear out texture.
Looks great, very "Alan Wake". Remember all the little homely details a hunting cabin would have, rifles mounted on walls, trophy heads, big rugs, old fashioned furniture etc.
Thanks Ludix for the riminder. Alan Wake have been a big inspiration source in my creating. Think I will start outside with firewood, lamps, rocking-chair and all that kind of things
Cheers!
I actually live in one of these as of now haha, my biggest crit is more of an observation, the loft area is usually gotten to by use of a ladder rather than stairs for small areas like this. It also leaves the space below open so there wouldn't be that wall there.
Also be sure to get the textures lined up correctly on those stairs if you do decide to use them, as well as some trim to keep them from ending so abruptly

Keep it up though!
nice job!
also nobody is going to steal your textures.
you'll need a witches cabin key...
Looks very good.
And about scale. As Rick mentioned, for example the railing looks a bit inflated.
