Hey Polycount,
I recently picked up sculpting with Mudbox and was looking into obtaining a tablet for said sculpting.
My dilemma is that while reading about tablet issues, I notice that some tablet software lack full functionality when it comes to Mudbox, Zbrush, etc.. Functions such as pressure sensitive brush sizes not manipulating according to the pressure of the pen. I also notice that tablets can be quite expensive and I'd rather not end up purchasing a tablet that utilizes software that does not completely sync with Mudbox functions.
Is there anyone present who possibly owns a tablet they use for Mudbox that functions as intended to perhaps share the info of their hardware? It would be much appreciated if I could get some assistance on the matter of compatible tablets. Thank you.

I use a Wacom Bamboo (Pen) for ZBrush, and I love it.
Don't worry about having too few pressure levels. There's 512 on mine and that's more than I'll ever need.
Try to avoid a touch sensitive one (one you use with your fingers), I don't see the usefulness of those, and I have heard it makes it impossible to draw/sculpt without your palm touching. I'm sure there's a way to disable touch, but I don't know.
And yeah, go for Wacom. They're the best!
Just make sure it says Wacom on it.
Sad but true :poly124:
