@haiddasalami: Yeah it would be pretty neat if Marmoset had a material editor like UDK's, maybe one day I'll put him in UDK instead but atm most of my maps are tuned for Marmoset
@Mike and ferg: Appreciate the crits, gonna fix the lighting as requested by quite a few people now.
Here's something else that I just started for my next assignment:
Awesome job on the rock dude. I am really digging your latest one. Great expression in his face, and the gloves strapped to his ankles is a crazy cool little touch. I am keen to see where he goes from here.
Nizza gotta say thanks for the basemesh, as I used that for this guy. Heavily tweaked to look somewhat like a little kid but the topology was very useful pre-retopo.
awesome
suggestions: make forearm ted longer and softer that shin bone (tibula)
considering how skinny he is, u could also go with defining some of the leg muscles a lil more, the tendons around the knee etc
Haha, now that's a very charismatic kid! I love the expression
Have you considered adding a few more ropes around the ankle ? It sorta looks like the gloves would fall off easily for someone as energetic as him Maybe that's just me though
Amazing work in this thread!
I have a question if you don't mind :
Is the cape one sided plane or is it double sided? I always run into problem when have to sculpt on a very thin layer of geometry. If I go with the double sided and even if I turn on back facing masking I still get geometry sticking on the other side so it will be great if you share how you did this. Perhaps there is something I am missing
Thanks in advance.

It's basically just a flat plane with Double (both sides visible) turned on in ZBrush under display properties.
Dumped a few hours into a sculpt, got upper body and legs mostly blocked in. Going to retopo him soon though (I gotta get rid of an arm eventually :P). The instructor wants me to do something rendered instead of game resolution (ughh)... I told him I shall get it done per request.
Hopefully this week I'll have time to retopo and start texturing on my monkeyboy. I need to have stuff done by the 8th of July at the latest. Graduation is July 15th.

Still needs the rest of his clothing/accessories. It's based on a concept by W4M1 who you can find here: http://w4m1.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d2dl6n0
LETS DEW THIS~

Needs more dangly bits and I should be done with the high-res wooop.

Are you going to bake it down to low poly and texture it?
Yup!
@duncan: Thanks mate!
