Xitol is looking for a team to help with a studio start up project to be released as a digital download product. We have been sending our project concept to several publishers at least two of which have shown interest if a demo can be made. This project will be on Unreal Engine 3 not UDK.

Our project is called Zone: The Battleground and is an all multiplayer FPS title.
The aim of the project is to create an all multiplayer game featuring online multiplayer and player hosted games, we also want to feature player customisation, dynamic environments, space combat, a rank system and clans (called squads). We do plan to give this project post production support when it is completed.
Other ideas we want to implement (but not essential) is a video and photo mode and a file sharing system.

For online gameplay we want to feature 3 modes;
- Squad Gameplay Games where only Squads can enter and are split into exact sub-squads (1 sub-squad is 4 players, up to 4 sub-squads from your squad in a team [4 or 8 players from your squad]) Ranks then decide sub-squad leaders.
- Open Games normal online multiplayer games where players can join alone or with friends.
- Custom Games players hosting any game on any map
We want to feature 12 multiplayer maps suitable for different game sizes with the largest maps being for 32 players on XBLA and 64 players on PC.

Concept Artist (3 open)
Concept artists are needed to help create concepts of the player models and the multiplayer maps to assist the other developers.
Programmer and Systems Designer (3 open)
The programmers are needed to create the core game system and the features (such as ranks player customisation)
Sandbox and Weapons Designer (1 open)
Sandbox and Weapons designers are needed to create the weapons for the game and balance them for gameplay through testing.
Environment Artist/Level Designer (FULL)
Needed for the creation of the multiplayer spaces being able to take concepts and turn them into playable spaces.
Animator (2 open)
Animators are needed to create the animations for the characters, and other game features.
Character Designer (1 open)
A character designer is needed to create the core gameplay character and various accessories for the character that players can customise their own model with in game.
User Interface Designer(2 open)
UI designers are needed to create the menu, and in game UI, they must also make the UI suitable and attractive.
Sound Artist (FULL)
A sound artist is needed to create sound effects in game, ambient sounds for the map in game and other sounds and music for the game.
General Modeller (4 Open)
General modellers should be able to use tools such as 3ds Max or blender and care needed to assist in the creation of objects for multiplayer maps.
2D Artist (1 Open)
the 2D artist should be able to assist with the UI creation and to design all the Medal, Challenge and Achievement Images.

NOTE - The current payment system is Compensated Pay with Royalties also not just Paid work, payments may come through mid-project or post production, developers can opt for exclusive rewards also, payment is negotiable, some positons may be Royalty only.
