Multires in Maya

Does Maya have anything like Max's Multires?

Anyone know of any plugins that would do the job?

mesh --> reduce..?

Just experimented with it, and it hates "bad geometry", and also it leaves a lot to be desired from the silhouette.

Thanks for the super fast answer, but are there any other suggestions?
