It's been forever since I posted product, so here we go. I've decided that if I want to be successful at character modeling, I should push myself to constantly work on character ideas. So here's an old sketch that I'm reworking in photoshop. Some feedback I've received so far indicates that the weight distribution from the waist down is too much for such a thin reptilian lower body. Therefore, I'm going to widen the lower body and lengthen the tail.
Comments and constructive criticism is always appreciated.
Realized recently that the perspective of the tail is in need of some work. I'm definitely learning a great deal through this process. It definitely taking longer than I expected. My goal is to get this to an acceptable level so that I can add value.
Reworking the bottom half with some better perspective (still needs work), improving my variation of line thickness, and experimenting with hair shapes in this draft.
