Im working on an environmental scene from Battle Fantasia. I wanted the church to look like an old rundown church that hasnt been used except for cults, so the upkeep in the church is null. This is a project for my modeling one class with 3ds Max. We have to participate in a contest like this where it is students and professonials competing. Im fairly new to the program, so any tips or techniques are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Here is the scene up to this point now. I am using the stairs from 3dsmax as a placeholder now, and plan on building some pews for the middle. Adding the Walls will be fun. This is for a modeling intro project, so not too familiar with alot of the Max techniques.
Here is the cobble stone that I made, just grouped some squares and added a little noise and melt modifiers to it. I wanted to make it look worn.
Had fun with light objects and a tad of animation. Texturing is going to suck.
